Since its inception in 1994, VOLKTEK has become a leader in providing media-conversion solutions for network connectivity. The company is comprised of experienced network industry professionals who are dedicated to the development and distribution of superior media-conversion technologies across a broad spectrum of networking protocols, including–but not limited to–Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, ATM, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, VOLKTEK has partnered with various resellers and OEM/ODM clients that distribute its range of products into European, Asian-Pacific and North American markets.

VOLKTEK's operating philosophy is to produce equipment that is of high quality and reliability, yet affordable enough to fit into the budget of every company and individual. In other words: people's products.

The result of this is that we have produced a range of switches, converters and other media-conversion solutions that link between the optical and electrical with a great degree of reliability and flexibility. Our products help enterprises to keep costs down by enabling them to keep their old equipment and cabling when they link these to LANs and WANs. Our products themselves are also cost-effective, especially when taking into account that our RMA rate is less than 0.1%.
