Vision & Mission

VOLKTEK has chosen its staff to offer its customers both the know-how and experience to build a long-lasting, working relationship that addresses the requirements of each customer's individual installation, as well as reliably incorporating the latest technologies to offer future-proof optical Ethernet products and services.

James Chen, President of VOLKTEK, graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a master's degree, majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS). His experience in the networking industry stretches back to 1989, and includes experience gained from working with D-Link and Accton. He has been with VOLKTEK since 1994, and brings to the company wide-ranging knowledge, including sales and marketing, general operation and manufacturing. James' primary focus at VOLKTEK is meeting clients' needs by offering complete optical Ethernet solutions.

Margaret Liao is a co-founder of VOLKTEK and current VP of Sales & Marketing. Majoring in Computer Science, Margaret graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and has been working in the networking field since 1991. Margaret brings to VOLKTEK experience gained from working with Accton and Delta Networking.

Raymond Lin is the VP of Engineering at VOLKTEK, and boasts a master's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York , U. S. A. Raymond's specialization was Computer and System Engineering. Raymond has previously worked for AEPCO, based in Maryland, and the Academia Sinica in Taiwan. Raymond has a wealth of knowledge in integrating hardware and software to ensure trouble-free operation and heads up VOLKTEK's software design and integration team. Raymond joined VOLKTEK in 2001.
