Increased ARPU
By providing triple-play content service including high speed internet (data), VoIP (voice), and Video on Demand/Video Conference/ IPTV (video) to their subscribers, ISPs now can increase their ARPU. Today’s broadband service market is highly competitive and subscribers are more and more demanding. Only data service is hard to lure more subscribers and retain existing subscribers’ loyalty. How to generate new revenue stream and overtake competitions become each ISP’s operational challenges. Providing triple-play service is the answer that overcomes that challenges.
Scalability & Flexibility
NHL-2342 Triple-play Home Gateway is capable of delivering data, voice, and video to allow ISPs providing completed content services including high speed internet (data), VoIP (voice), and Video on Demand/Video Conference/ IPTV (video) to all the subscribers. For those subscribers that only need partial content service either data, voice ,or video in the beginning, ISPs can disable either service via remote setup and enable service again when subscribers need it.
Auto-provisioning
With NHL-2342 Triple-play Home Gateway, subscribers can manage and configure their content service at any time via remote on-line log in. The billing system will be adjusted automatically according to the changed service. Subscribers do not have to go to ISPs’ front desk to change their service in person. Both subscribers and ISPs significantly save time and cost.
Manageability
Unlike unmanaged media converters and switches that lead all connected ports down when one port is down, NHL-2342 Triple-play Gateways and Routers feature port isolation to prevent “one down all down” disaster from network operations. It supports remote in-band management that helps ISPs manage their complex networks easily and reduce both CAPEX and OPEX significantly. Unpredictable operational Issues occurred all the time at today’s broadband networks. ISPs need manageable gateways and routers to increase their network performance and subscribers’ satisfaction.
