Overview

SEN-8328P is a managed 8-port 10/100/1000 PoE+ uplink and 2-port FX/GbE SFP downlink industrial switch designed for indoor surveillance and internet access points applications. This PoE+ switch features up to 8-port PSE (power sourcing equipment) ports to control all the remote powered devices (PDs) with the help of automated features controlled from the web browser. The SFP ports offer long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions.

This device complies with cybersecurity standards to safeguard the network from vulnerabilities and protect your assets. The network topology map feature allows visualizing the network of connected devices and optimizes the network with rate limitation and QoS (Quality of Service).

This switch is built with industrial grade components, enclosed in IP30 aluminum to protect the device from tools and hazards. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -10°C~60°C (14°F~140°F) it suits hardened application environments. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails.

Powered simultaneously with two different power sources, e.g. SDR-480P-48 power supply and IRA-120/IRA-160 DIN-rail mountable AC to DC power adapter, with power failure alarm.


Redundant Ring for Fast Network Recovery
Various ring protocols such as STP (Spanning Tree Protocol), RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), MSTP (Multiple Spanning Tree protocol), Xpress Ring, and ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) for recovery of network failure in milliseconds.
