INS-8528M is a high-performance 8-port 10/100 RJ45 downlink and 2-port FX/GbE SFP uplink managed industrial switch designed for communication between controllers and devices in automation settings. The SFP port offers long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions that adapt to Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds. It is used with industrial devices such as PLCs, HMIs, and legacy devices. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and Modbus TCP to aggregate devices easily in industrial Ethernet applications.
The RJ45 type console port allows outbound network troubleshooting when networks go wrong. Including a variety of management tools for configuration, the switch offers various in-built traffic optimization and network performance features to prioritize important data packets, prevent the loss of data during communication, and stabilize transmission.
